imminent

"We should not worry of what lies ahead as ahead is yet to come,
it is God's little secret that we need not try to understand."

An old friend of mine shared her two cents worth. Her father had passed away recently and I'm pleased to learn how calm she is accepting God's will. In reminiscence, she was a great confidante during my UiTM days. With that to measure, I believe it came from a respectful inheritance. May he be placed among the nobility of His companions.

On a lighter note, yesterday was eventful. I finally braved myself through the bustling roads. So I took mom's car and drove myself to KLCC with the intention of paving the Federal Highway. As I'd expected, the journey brought back memories. The memorable days of being an intern. I caught myself smiling sheepishly as I drove by Taman Jaya LRT Station. Interning at HSBC Amanah Takaful was definitely the highlight of my diploma years. Therefore, iftar with Kak Farihah was highly anticipated. To have been told that my ex-colleagues along with the CEO still remembers me, I giggled in gaiety.

Nothing's changed – nothing's the same. It's constantly a confusion versus simplicity. I was however flabbergasted to see how ridiculous merchandises are priced - labeled or non. A visit to Kinokuniya outweighed the guilt of purchasing a pair of flats because of my oblivion, in which newly worn wedges are not meant for well... walking around the mall for half a day.

10 more days before I head back to the field of corns. My stay has been remarkable. This is home. The notion, "home is where the heart is" however as I've come to terms with is far more befitting.
